The NPO Rusalia is aimed at children who live in Peipsiääre municipality.
Its children’s choir performs the spiritual verses and folk songs of the Old Believers so as to contribute to the preservation of the song-related cultural heritage of the Old Believers. The choir performs at Kolkja school, kindergarten and community centre events, enabling the children not only to gain performance experience but also to showcase traditional songs to a wider audience.
Rusalia also organises celebrations each year in the village of Kolkja of the most important holiday in the calendar: Easter.
The children’s creative workshop ‘Little Handicraft Masters’ is also run by the organisation.
