‘Shevchenko’ Sunday School of Ukrainian Culture in Lääne-Viru County
This school was founded in Tapa in 2011 as part of the NPO ‘Koit’ Creative Society.
It teaches Ukrainian language, literature, history, folk poetry, music and songs.
Its students take part in the international festival ‘Ukrainian Flowers’ and get to know sights around Estonia that are linked to creative people with Ukrainian roots.
Children from the school have won prizes at Ukrainian art festivals and in competitions.
