Film night "Kõhedad muinaslood" (in Jõhvi)

Jõhvi kontserdimaja kino Amadeus (Pargi 40, Jõhvi)

Over a series of nights we’ll be watching some great Estonian films together. The movies will be shown at the Amadeus cinema at Jõhvi Concert Hall, with the film nights being held twice a month from October to December. All screenings will start at 18:00. The programme has yet to be finalised, but will include such films as Seltsimees laps, Sangarid, Supilinna Salaselts, Mehed, Kratt, Eesti matus, Jõulud džunglis and Eia jõulud Tondikakul. Each screening will be followed by a brief discussion in which everyone will get the chance to share their thoughts on the film. Places are limited: only around 50 people will be able to attend each screening.

On October 25, we will watch the film "Lean Fairy Tales" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pcNoTU5KtKk). The film is not recommended for children under age 12 years.

 

Health safety. In organising language courses, Estonian Language Houses are guided by the current requirements put in place to stop the spread of coronavirus. Only people who present the certificate to prove that they are vaccinated or have been recovered from COVID-19 can take part in events. The COVID certificates of all attendants will be checked at the entrance, please bring your identity document with you as well. The certificate can be submitted in both paper and digital form (eg from smartphone).
