On a trip to Hiiumaa, you will get to know the history and culture of Estonia’s second largest island.
Our guide Annika will accompany us during the trip around the island, and the language of communication is Estonian. We will explore the Tahkuna lighthouse, the wind tower in Käina, take a quick look at Suuremõisa castle, and visit the Long House of the Hiiumaa Museum in Kärdla. We will also have lunch in Kärdla.
We will depart from Pärnu at 7.45 a.m. From 10.00 a.m. to 11.15 a.m., a ferry will take our group from Rohuküla to Heltermaa. The Heltermaa ferry will bring the group back to Rohuküla from 6.30 p.m. to 7.45 p.m., and from there, we will take a bus to Pärnu, arriving at 9.45. p.m.
The trip will develop the oral and written Estonian language skills of the participants (the guide speaks Estonian, the information materials are in Estonian) and promotes communication between people.
