This school was founded in 2010.
It aims to support the teaching of the language, culture and history of Azerbaijan to children with Azeri roots living in Estonia and to be a leader in the integration of Azeri children into Estonian society. The school is a cultural bridge between Azeri youth and their homeland.
It runs lessons on Azeri language, literature, culture and history. There is also a dance group that provides the children with both entertainment and the chance to learn about the history and elements of traditional folk dance from Azerbaijan.
Novruz Bayramı (or Nowruz) and Independence Day are celebrated. Excursions and study trips are also organised, giving the children the chance to add to their knowledge and develop their language skills.
