Eesti ja vene keele kontrastiivgrammatika väike käsiraamat

The book examines Estonian and Russian language phenomena from a contrastive-functional perspective. Special focus is given to the differences between the two languages. The book includes chapters on phonetics, word formation, morphology and syntax. An analysis of typical mistakes made by students forms a chapter of its own. In addition, a brief overview is presented of Estonian lexis as well as a Russian-Estonian glossary of the terms used. The book is designed for teachers of Estonian as a second language, in particular those for whom Estonian is not their native language.
